Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need a Coordinator for my wedding?

Yes, we do require that you select a day of coordinator to facilitate your wedding ceremony and schedule of events. You can use one of our in-house coordinators, or, select one on your own.

 

Can I choose my own Vendors?

You are required to select a caterer, bartender, and DJ from our preferred vendor list. All other vendors are your choice. 

 

Catering and Bartending requirements?

All caterers and bartenders must be selected from our preferred list, no exceptions. Your caterer and bartender will not have access to our main kitchen or ice. We do offer a small prep area with a sink and fridge that they are able to use on the day of the event. 

 

Do I need to provide Wedding Insurance?

No, we offer wedding insurance for our couples in all of our packages. Your caterer and bartenders do need their own licensing. 

 

Who is responsible for set up and clean up?

Our venue staff will set up all tables and chairs included in our packages. Any other items brought in will need to be set up and cleaned up at the end of the night by someone decided by the client. All decorations, florals, furniture, etc. are required to be removed from our property no later than 11pm.

Will there be someone onsite the day of?

Yes, our Event Manager will be onsite for the duration of the wedding. Please note that this person is not your coordinator. They are onsite to supervise the venue and security. You are responsible for bringing in and setting up all of your decor. There will not be staff onsite to move tables, chairs, or other items on the day of your event. Your layout is discussed prior to the event and our set up team will place the items included from the venue before you arrive.

 

Is there a place to get ready onsite?

Yes! We offer access to our bridal suite beginning as early as 11am. Just as the other venue spaces you are renting, the room must be left in the same condition as you found it. 

 

Are animals allowed onsite?

Although we love animals here at The Gardens, we cannot allow any onsite, except service animals. 

 

What other "surprises" do we need to know about?

The Gardens does not like to leave you with any surprises. We want to make your wedding planning as easy and stress-free as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask our Venue Coordinator.
